SpendPreflight: Terms of Service (v1, 2026-10-06)

1. Service. SpendPreflight provides informational risk checks (sanctions screening, domain signals) and
   allow/hold/block recommendations for payments by software agents. Calls are paid per request via x402.
2. Not advice, no certification. Results are informational only. They are not legal, compliance, or financial
   advice, not a sanctions-compliance certification, and not a guarantee. You remain responsible for your
   own compliance obligations and payment decisions. Verify any match before acting.
3. Data. Sanctions data comes from public U.S. Treasury OFAC lists and is refreshed daily; every response
   includes data_as_of. Domain signals come from public RDAP and DNS.
4. Charges. Each successful (2xx) call is charged at the published price. Requests rejected as invalid (4xx)
   or failed because data is unavailable (503) are not settled. Payments are final once settled on-chain.
5. Acceptable use. Don't use the service for unlawful purposes, to evade sanctions, or to overload it.
   We may rate-limit or refuse abusive traffic.
6. No warranty. The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent
   permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid in the 30 days before it.
7. Changes. We may change prices or these terms with notice at /terms and in /status; versioned API paths
   (/v1) will not change behavior incompatibly without a new version.
